About Udaipur city 

Udaipur was the capital of the Rajput kingdom of Mewar which was ruled by Ranawats of the Sisodia clan and the founder of Udaipur city was Rana Udai Singh.

It is another island in Lake Pichola which is very renowned for its garden courtyard and the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan took refuge here while he was revolting against his father. 

Fateh Sagar Lake

Fateh Sagar lake is a place for young lovers which is situated north of lake Pichola and was built by Maharana Jai Singh in the year 1678 AD so it is a great location for you to explore.

It is a lake with two islands named Jag Niwas and Jag mandir which is 4km long and 3km wide the lake remains fairly shallow at the time of the run but gets extremely dry at the time of severe drought.
